Speaking of cats, comment mentioned Taylor's! She said, "Meredith would get it," though we think all Swifties would get it, too. Whichever of Taylor's albums is your favorite, it's bound to bring out the feels. "I really hope TikTok shows Taylor this," wrote So do we! She would love the minimal look almost as much as she'd love Casper. The dissonance impacted my enjoying of them.Viewer one-word comment summed up everything about this video oh-so-perfectly: "mood." Everything from the minimalistic space to Casper's dramatic pose is aesthetic AF! We'd love to chill there listening to Midnights with Casper and his mom. Then one day recently I made the mistake of reading the lyrics of some of the songs and realized they felt all very teenager diary, high school drama level stuff. I've forever associated these big ominous sounding songs to the inherent mysteriousness of the wild, large mountain forests, almost in an apocalyptic way. For example, I grew up hearing Depeche Mode's Music for the Masses in road trips around mountain roads, in the backseat. Funnily enough I can often become annoyed at understanding the lyrics of songs nowadays if they end up not matching the vibe I assigned to it in my mind. This has continued even after learning english, it's how I learnt to enjoy music deep down. As a french kid listening to mostly english music because of my parents, I grew up listening to music for the vibe without understanding any lyrics, by design.
